Coffee. Where would life be without that steaming hot first cup of coffee for the day ? Can you imagine the damage to society wrought without the social interlude of cappuccino's, cafe latte's and short blacks ? The world would be colourless, lame and without dignity at all should coffee cease to exist ! Elissa has a life long passion for art. When she was sixteen, she packed herself off to art school - it lasted a day and ended in tears. Her lecturer (who was also the dean of the art school) told her that she had "absolutely no artistic talent in her body at all' and she was wasting her time - and his. Head down, sniffling along the sodden rain soaked streets of Adelaide, Elissa went home to pursue her life without art. Over the years her fingers couldn't resist picking up pencils and paints though and the results are now thumbing their nose at that art lecturer in her online art gallery..... |

Elissa is... what is commonly referred to as a 'committed christian' (although some people perhaps think she should be committed to another kind of institution !!) Its not really a passion or interest - but rather who she is, embedded in the essence of her whole persona and how she walks in life. It is the very core of her. Mount Tamborine. Elissa's favourite place on earth. It is situated in South Queensland, just behind the Gold Coast and is part of the hinterland. Lush, green, quiet and tranquil, Mount Tamborine attracts visitors from all parts of the world. Elissa and her family lived here for a couple of years before venturing back to the wilderness of the Gold Coast. Mount Tamborine is a mini melting pot of cultures, arts, and beautiful rainforests. Elissa hopes to return there some day to live...... |
