Elissa's Website - Who is Eli ?

So, who is Eli?.... Her full name is Elissa Lenora Ferreira. Friends call her Eli.
	Elissa is now 43 (in 2005) and lives on the GoldCoast of Queensland, Australia. (It isn't that hard to find on a map ). She has three gorgeous children that rule her life :) Yep, that's them in the photo to the left - she unashamedly centres her private life around them and is very family orientated. Eli loves the rainforests and lived for a while up on Mount Tamborine in the hinterlands of the Goldcoast ( go find your map again :) )
Eli is a widow, after losing her husband to cancer in December 2003. After a time of grieving, it was 'pick up your socks before you lose them ' and time to start life again
	She can often be found doing battle with her computer late at night -willing it to behave..... this has led her to the challenge of conquering the technology of computers ....interfaced with her love of the internet and graphic art. This website is part of the whole that make up the re- invention of her life
A dedicated Christian, she has in the past been actively involved in ministering to people from all walks of life, both in life and via the internet, giving support and encouragement to those in need. In the last couple of years though, she has had to swap places - it has taught her a lot of valuable life lessons. she wonders why ??!!!)
Elissa ought to own a glass factory .... her mirrors keep cracking !....she has aaagggggged in the last few years and has a heap more wrinkles now than she ever did before ( yeah yeah, it happens :) ).
	Once upon a time Eli was 6ft - but over the last year she has found she has shrunk ! - Blonde at the roots she perpetually lives her life in organized chaos ( though I'm sure she would love to deny that ). Actually, its more of a problem for other people than it is for her ??? ( She wonders why about that too ! ).
She is sometimes shy until she gets frustrated, mad, happy or delirious when a painting actually WORKS!!!!! ( see her Art Gallery on this site )...or until she gets to know a person.
	Eli has had acquaintances, been burned a lot, and then jumped straight back into the fire..... or was that the firing line .... errr.....( it seems to be her forte??!!... but has handed in her resignation on that one to the big fella upstairs)
Someone very very wise told her a while back..."choose your inner circle wisely".... and so, in the process of doing so...... has about 3 friends left !!!!!...those three friends have stood the test of time and have held her when she has fallen, laughed at her when she has been blonde ( umm which is nearly always), cried with her in empathy and made faces with her drinking too much coffee and red wine :). They have berated her when she has messed up and hugged her when she has gone mushy. They have understood her heart and believed in her. Hey, its a pretty rare thing to find these days...:) She is a blessed woman.
What else....umm.... is would be roller blader, loves people with a good sense of humour, her hobbies include creative writing (poetry) dancing, swimming, walking through rainforests and especially the ocean at night.
	After a disastrous attempt to date and cautiously become involved in a relationship, Eli has decided that perhaps being a nun might be her calling - as long as she can take along her beloved computer, and kids. Ummmm.....
Ohhhh.... and one more thing - In January 2002 she chopped off her big left hand toe.... ahhhh blondes and lawnmowers huh...but guess what, like a reptile...... it grew back ha ha.
